Halifax Connector Program
Connect with local business leaders
Presented by RBC Future Launch, our award-winning Connector Program helps new immigrants and recent graduates grow their professional network in Halifax. This highly effective networking program will put you directly in touch with Connectors—business owners and operators, managers, civil servants and community leaders—who work in the same field as you.
Meeting with your Connector will enhance your networking skills, build your professional network, improve your job search in Halifax, and connect you to hidden job opportunities.
The Connector team is working remotely and continuing to match and support Connectors and Connectees to meet virtually. Although the meetings will be held online rather than face-to-face, the Connector process remains the same.
Match
You'll be matched with a Connector based on industry experience and professional background. Once the connection has been made, you'll receive an introduction email to set up a virtual meeting with your Connector.
Connect
You'll meet with your Connector for 30 minutes online or over the phone to discuss industry trends, skills and areas of expertise, related news, current market demands and hidden job opportunities in Halifax.
Refer
Your Connector will then refer you to a minimum of three people in their network. These referrals may be other potential employers or influential leaders within their industry.
