Hiring During COVID-19?

We are here to help

There is much uncertainty around work right now. The pandemic has swiftly changed the lives of many individuals and businesses. While many businesses are closed or operating at reduced capacity, others are open and need to fill immediate job openings.

Through our Connector Program, we are working to connect businesses in these essential industries with job seekers. We plan to expand to other sectors as the program develops.

Agriculture

Our agriculture sector is essential to feeding Nova Scotians. Farms, food processing, and other argri-businesses are looking to fill positions immediately.

Fish Processing

Our fisheries and aquaculture sector provide our communities both locally and globally with sustainably-sourced, high quality fish and seafood.

Transportation

Commercial transportation and logistics companies get essential goods and services to Canadians. They keep goods moving to our communities.
