Global multi-platform entertainment company, Wattpad announced Halifax as the companies second headquarters after a competitive search. The company will add too, and benefit from the Halifax Innovation District, joining the 2000+ small and large companies that are fostering innovation in our city.

Axis Capital, a leading global speciality insurer and reinsurer, is building its new Business Technology Centre in Halifax. The centre will have access to the steady stream of skilled and educated talent coming out of Halifax’s 8 universities that will be required for the company’s growing technology team. The centre will play a key role for AXIS Capital in advancing digital initiatives, supporting customers and partners in distribution.
