On June 15, the Halifax Innovation Outpost held its first Corporate Innovation workshop, led by Permjot Valia, with business leaders from Halifax Partnership Investor companies.

Businesses gained practical knowledge and ideas for advancing innovation agendas and capacity within their organizations; this will help established corporations increase opportunities for ideation, co-creation, and the development of innovative strategies and solutions within their companies. The workshop also provided an opportunity for businesses to network and identify potential connections and opportunities to collaborate.

Participating businesses were invited to express interest in receiving customized, one-on-one support going forward.
